Although it has it's detractors this is actually quite a good little stadium, mostly used for football these days though also occasional gigs and athletics events. Within the complex there's a gym, sports halls that double up as events venues (there are many collectors fairs and other events throughout the year) and a decent cafe. It's not really world class though a decent facility none the less.

Great afternoon out, went to game v Leamington and done the full works hospitality, me and dad loved it. Food was good, drinks reasonable priced for location. Mike The Gaffer Williamson was great, come and had pictures with us and signed the programme and a bottle of Heed Red Wine i won.

Disappointed by the fact that we were allowed in 1 stand only, on the side. The events taking place behind the pitch were limited viewing and needed binoculars. We were not able to move to seats behind the pitch due to security regulations! Guess this is part of the ongoing dispute between the council and football club. Would this be enforced if Gateshead is selected for a major atheletics event?

This place is good it has loads of things to do inside . I have seen the football pitch but haven’t been on it . I think this place is good.

Trained here throughout 16-18 and it's amazing.
The staff are all friendly, plenty gym equipment and the track is incredible. Although it definitely feels longer than it looks when you're on the thing!
They host a multitude of events throughout the year also aswell as it being a sports college.
Worth a visit if you're into running, or looking for a quick workout.

Absolutely disgusting today 12/1.30 very small no organisation 🙄 inflatables not very good , wipe out not working ,I have completed on there Facebook page as well as others getting deleted off pleased avoid ask for refund it’s small & rubbish I don’t complain much , this was disappointing and waste off time it’s a shame as a beautiful cafe & stadium , may be who organised this needs to take responsibility, it’s a shame for the stadium to get the bad comments when it’s the firm they have let use there facilities

We were left very disappointed by our visit to the stadium to see Little Mix perform on 26th July.
If the stadium can not cope with events of this scale then it should not hold them.
We were seated tickets but not allowed through the gates into the standing area, despite this being where the decent food trucks, merchandise stalls and bulk of the toilets were.
In our section there was one tiny food & drink area for literally thousands of people. And three Ladies toilets. Three! For an event where the vast majority of people were women with young girls.
The food stand ran out of soft drinks during the support act and did not replenish. The wine was warm and at £4 for 125ml a total rip off - this works out at £24 a bottle for warm wine in a plastic cup.
The food options were only burgers or hot dogs - I have no idea what vegetarians were supposed to do for food, or people who don’t like burgers & hotdogs. Not even chips available at an event aimed at kids.
In any case, the queues for all of these things were ridiculous and it was cash only - no cards accepted and no cash machine facilities inside the stadium.
Little Mix and their supports were fantastic but were badly let down by a sub standard venue that needs to bring itself into this century before considering holding more events on this scale.
Bitterly disappointed considering I spent £150 on two tickets and more inside the stadium. Also had a very upset little girl who had been promised a Little Mix t-shirt from the concert and wasn’t allowed to buy one by stadium staff.
