Jimi Hendrix – Experience Hendrix (The Best Of Jimi Hendrix)

What a great album! I read many conflicted and poor reviews regarding the European GZ Media release, compared to the seemingly endless positive reviews I'm reading here, based on the US, Quality Record Pressings release. This is the way that I think Jimi had hoped I would hear his music someday. It's just beautiful. I was about 18 years old when Jimi was busy releasing his great work.
After comparing the reviews, I wanted to confirm that I would be receiving the QRP release. So I contacted the seller to have him make a visual check of the logos on the album's back cover. The US, QRP release has only 2 logos, the Experience Hendrix and the Legacy logo, on the lower left corner of the back of the album cover. Whereas, the European release has 3 logos: Experience Hendrix, Legacy, and Sony Music. I have a lot of Jimi Hendrix music, mostly in CD digital format, but if I was going to only have one collection of his music, this vinyl album would be the one, for sure. What a find!

Amazing Pressing.So far no issue with Jimi Hendrix Vinyls ,they are all sounds perfect...

Already got the second one but still the first three song on A have a lot of crackling and all other songs are perfect. Nobody else having this issue?

You can really tell the difference with the 200 gram pressing of this. Used to the 180 on a lot of records, this extra weight is really nice. Beautiful press and amazing sound quality. I have number 7140

Amazing. I wish they included "cocaine". It's worth listening to in the dark with headphones at full volume.

This compilation covers much ground but the mastering makes the music sound weird and processed.

Quietest record I own. Excellent sound and songs. 5/5. :)

I recently dug this one out of a bin at Wal-Mart of all places for $22.00! Playback was pristine and I love the art package. I do believe this sounds better than the 1997 MCA pressing from whom I could usually expect a lower quality sound. While I cannot compare the mix to the originals I was really surprised and pleased at the sound of these.

I agree with everyone who says that the pressing quality is excellent. Plus, at least for me, it came pre-packaged in a poly sleeve, so that means I won't have to worry about this record getting scratched by a paper sleeve!

I found this at Target today for 50% off, so I was a little suspicious about the quality. I'm grinning from ear to ear over the quality on first listen. Highly recommended. 👍✌️🤘
