Nancy O'Dell, host of HGTV's Celebrities at Home, is an Emmy Award-winning entertainment journalist and has proven to be a force in all areas of her career as a host, author, producer and entrepreneur.

An academic leader early on, Nancy was valedictorian of her high school class and graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University. Upon graduation Nancy began her broadcast career as a reporter and an anchor at WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and later worked as a morning news anchor and crime reporter at WCBD-TV in Charleston, S.C.

One of the country's most respected and leading entertainment journalists, Nancy co-hosts the most watched entertainment news program in the world, Entertainment Tonight. Before ET, Nancy served as the co-anchor of Access Hollywood for 13 years. Nancy has also contributed reports to CBS' The Early Show as well as NBC's Today and Dateline. With 20 years of live television experience, Nancy is a go-to host for live network specials, including the Emmy Awards Red Carpet pre-show for NBC (2006), ABC (2000) and Fox (1999). She has also made guest appearances on a number of programs, including ABC's The View, Jay Leno's The Tonight Show, Conan O'Brien's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Regis and Kelly, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Project Runway. Additional films and television series in which she has appeared include Charmed, Beverly Hills 90210 and General Hospital.

An award-winning journalist, Nancy has been honored with three Associated Press Awards, two Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Awards and an Emmy Award. In 2009 Nancy was honored with the Beautiful Humanitarian Award by the Professional Beauty Association, an award given to a public figure who exemplifies beauty both inside and out. In addition, she was nominated two years in a row (1999 and 2000) for the prestigious ICG Publicists Guild Press Award, recognizing excellence in entertainment reporting. She was also ranked by Shape magazine as one of the 20 Hottest Stars Right Now.

As someone who has passion for design, Nancy has designed and launched her own line of outdoor furniture, Red Carpet Furniture by Nancy O'Dell. Although she maintains a busy work schedule, Nancy regularly makes time for philanthropic endeavors, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and ALS.

Nancy resides in the Los Angeles area with her husband, Keith Zubchevich, their daughter, Ashby, and her stepsons, Tyler and Carson.
