MRS. AMANDA MURRAY

MRS. AMANDA MURRAY

Principal

Mrs. Amanda Murray is the Principal at Stow-Munroe Falls High School. Mrs. Murray has a passion for secondary education and helping all students find success. She has a focus on educational leadership, specifically in the areas of curriculum and instruction, assessment, and building a strong school culture. Mrs. Murray strives to be a champion for all students and staff!

Mrs. Murray is proud of her Stow roots. She started her educational career as a student teacher in Stow and was hired as a math teacher at SMFHS the following semester. Most of her teaching career was focused on co-teaching within an inclusion setting, where she gained experience working with students of all levels. Mrs. Murray earned both her undergraduate degree in education and her master's degree
in educational administration from the University of Akron.

MS. EVELYN HAUGHT

MRS. EVELYN HAUGHT
Assistant Principal

 

Ms. Haught has been an assistant principal at Stow Munroe Falls High School for the past eight years. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University with certification as a K-12 intervention specialist followed by a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Akron with certification as a school principal.  

 

Ms. Haught worked at Stow Munroe Falls High School as an intervention specialist from 2007-2013.  She then took a position as the assistant principal at Bolich Middle School in Cuyahoga Falls before returning to Stow Munroe Falls. 

 

As an educational leader, she aims to support students in all facets of their educational lives. Mrs. Haught prides herself on her ability to build rapport with students and use that to help them reach academic success.


MR. TIM RENNER

 

Assistant Principal

Greeting Bulldogs!  Mr. Renner is an assistant principal at Stow-Munroe Falls High School. He graduated from Kent State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Integrated Social Studies.  He then returned to Kent State and earned a Master’s Degree as an Intervention Specialist.  Mr. Renner is starting his 9th year at Stow Munroe Falls High School.  Mr. Renner worked at Norton City Schools and Northwestern Local Schools as an Intervention Specialist prior to his tenure at Stow.  Mr Renner’s family is also involved with Stow Munroe Falls City Schools.  His wife, Leah, is an Art teacher at Lakeview Intermediate and he has two boys Cooper, 6th grade, and Jace, 4th grade enrolled in the Stow Munroe Falls City School system


MR. JAYSON YEAGLEY

Assistant Principal

Mr. Yeagley is excited to join the SMF family as the newest Assistant Principal at Stow-Munroe Falls High School.  

He graduated from Kent State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Integrated Language Arts (grades 7-12).  He earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership (grades 7-12) at Ashland University in 2009.  Mr. Yeagley spent 10 years as a High School English Teacher at Palm Bay High School in Florida and Columbiana High School in Columbiana, Ohio.  With 12 years of admin experience, he has served as assistant and head Principal at both the middle school and high school levels.  Yeagley also spent four years at Mahoning County Educational Service Center as an Teaching and Learning department administrator.  Mr. Yeagley and his wife have three children in ages ranging from 9th grade to the first year of college.

With a growth mindset, Mr. Yeagley focuses on supporting all students at Stow Munroe Falls.
