Default What is my old trolling motor worth?

I have what I believe is a 2004 Minn Kota Power Drive 65# thrust 24 volt with auto pilot. It has the adaptor cord for some Lowrance units with the built in transducer. I have the manual and the unit works fine. I would like to sell it now that I got a new Terrova. What would be a fair price my old unit? Thanks

Edit: Because the seller does not know what to price it at, and we know it's well below the 500.00 price cap...we will allow this one without a posted price.

Just bought a 1 year old base model Powerdrive V2 55# for $320. I think about $200 would be tops.

that is kind of a tough one..sounds like a dam nice motor..how about checking ebay and amazon to see what they have gone for in the past..?

Was gonna say ask 250-300 and see what happens. If no bites you know you are asking too much. Market kinda flooded at te moment I'd say. There's definitely no shortage of used trolling motors!

PS, a quick google search would have netted you similar results without bumping legitimate sales off the first page...

I just sold a powerdrive non v2 that was 40lb thrust 12 volt for $200. I had over a dozen emails (none from here) on the trolling motor in 3 days time. Sold it without issues to the first guy that emailed.

I'd say you should be able to get $300 or so.

How To Determine What Year Minn Kota Trolling Motor You Have

2008 and earlier serial numbers:
Serial numbers start with the two-letter prefix MK (Minn Kota), GN (Genesis), DH (DeckHand), CP (CoPilot), WW (Weedless Wedge 2 models), TT (Trim Tabs), or PT

Following the prefix, will be a two-letter year code:
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
A B C D E F G H I J


For example, if you see a motor with a WWAI designation, it will denote a Weedless Wedge that is a 2008 model motor and MKAF is a Minn Kota that is a 2005-year model.

2009 and later serial numbers:
The first letter is the year code, the next 3 numbers is the number of the day of the year (out of 365), The next 2 letters are the product code, the last numbers are the serial number.
For example, if your number were this;
J003MK99999
J = 09
003= Manufactured 3rd day of the year
MK= Minn Kota
99999= Serial Number

The motor would be a 2009
