• School PrincipalI would like to take this opportunity to share with you how honored I am to be working at Barron Collier High School. I have been in education since 1993, starting my career as a Science Instructor at a high school in New York. My first administrative assignment was an Assistant Principal in February 1999, working in a building comprised of students in Grades 7-12. I received my first position as a principal in 2003. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Master of Science Degree in Foundations and Teaching, and Master of Science Degree in School Administration, as well as a Doctorate in School Leadership. My educational philosophy is quite simple… ALL decisions made are based on what is best for the students. One of the driving forces that support my philosophy comes from a famous quote by Theodore Roosevelt: “Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.” I look forward to working with you and your child in my role at Barron Collier.

Alford It is an honor and privilege to serve as Barron Collier’s Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction. I have had a life-long passion for working with children and feel very grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role. It is my sincere pleasure to work with our dedicated BC Nation community and staff to help provide an excellent world-class educational experience for our students. I am truly honored to be part of such a caring, compassionate, and hard-working BC Nation Family.

Our teachers, support staff, families, community members, and administration all play a part in helping our BC students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. A strong partnership between home and school fosters the greatest success for students.

Please feel free to reach out to me to share ideas, concerns, or questions. I look forward to a very successful school year. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to meeting with you soon!

This is my 20th year as a proud member of the Cougar Family, and I am honored to be a part of this amazing community dedicated to supporting academic achievement that is balanced with and encourages participation in a variety of extracurricular activities. My goal is to assist the members of our school community as they work toward meeting their potential by providing opportunities to achieve their goals, whether those goals are academic, athletic or personal, and to celebrate our students’ achievements and successes in a positive, student-focused learning environment. Please feel to contact me with any questions, concerns or to share the achievements and successes of our students.

This is my 8th year as an administrator at BC. My first administrative position was at BC before working at other Collier County middle and high schools and then coming back home to BC. My goal is to ensure students, staff and parents all feel safe, secure and supported during their time at BC. We call our office “Student Services” instead of Attendance and Discipline because our role is to serve students. We are the customer service center of Barron Collier. The positive climate that we foster through this philosophy helps students to focus on their personal goals and academic achievements. If your student is not feeling this way, then they should reach out to me either in person or through our Student Services course in Canvas.

sartorio I am so excited to be here and be a part of such a great family and community. My educational background consists of degrees in Exercise Science, Sports Management with a concentration in Business, and Educational Leadership. This year is my 16th year in education for CCPS. Students who participate in extracurricular activities demonstrate higher levels of academic achievement, greater character and social development, and a greater sense of the importance of school and community involvement. My goal is to ensure that students, staff, and parents foster an environment that celebrates our students’ different interests and talents and supports a healthy balance between academic and extracurricular activities. As part of the “Cougar Nation,” I am committed to making certain that all activities, clubs, sports, and events occur in a safe, welcoming environment and provide memorable experiences for our students. We are here for the students and our goal is to provide the ultimate experience for them. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

It is an honor to serve as Director of Counseling at Barron Collier.  I previously served in this role from 2014-2019.  I have been a part of the Barron Collier Counseling department since 1998, serving in various counseling roles and as scholarship coordinator.  My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Philosophy, from Hillsdale College (Michigan).  My Master of Arts in Counselor Education was completed at the University of South Florida.  Before working as a school counselor, I taught United States History and United States Government for the Collier County Public Schools.   I am also a proud CCPS graduate!

My goal is to serve all students during their four-year high-school experience by helping them identify their interests and aptitudes.  It is my mission to aid students in discovering their personal gifts and talents for the development of post-secondary goals.  Each student is on their own unique path to self-sufficiency and independence.  I am fortunate to work in a school setting with such a long history of motivated, kind, and ambitious students.  The BC Nation is a school with a culture of dedicated learning and educational excellence.  We value our family and community support and I invite you to reach out to me directly with your questions, concerns, and needs.
