How should coronation street end

Have all storylines come to a close by late November, then for Jenny/carla/whoever to discover that the Rovers is being demolished. All the residents come together to protest the closure, Ken, Rita, Audrey, Roy rallying them all together. There can be cameos for past characters- Janice, Jason, Rosie, Sophie, Eva, Curly, to name a few off the top of my head. On 9th December for a 2 hour ending (when the first episode aired), they'll have a lockin at the rovers as one last attempt as they all reminisce about the past 60 years. This'll convince the company to keep the rovers alive, offering 10% ownership to the residents (kinda like at underworld) to help fund community projects. As they all party, Ken returns back to no1, when he dies in his armchair next to Deirdre's photo. Tracy finds him with a letter next to him, which she reads to the residents at the rovers about the brilliance of their community. It ends with them celebrating Ken's life and the community panning over the street. It ends like this so it's a decent ending for fans but also not so definitive that corrie can't come back if wanted.

Ken wakes up. It is all a dream. He is still young and it is 1960.

It should end when Bill Roache passes away. Much the same way St. Elsewhere ended with a fantasy scene with show characters, they should have someone else playing a younger Ken Barlow, maybe James Roache, decades ago when he was writing his book. He could finally finish it and get it published. The book is of course about the street and all of it's local characters, with a lot of artistic license taken in the story. (I'm rewatching 2008 and Ken finds the working copy of the book and is telling Deirdre and Blanche about it). He began writing it in 1961, right at the time the show began. The whole show could have been a creation of his imagination.

THE FACTORY IS SET ON FIRE BY CARLA'S BROTHER ROB WHO HAS ESCAPED FROM PRISON. THE DOORS ARE SEALED AND MANY OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE TRAPPED INSIDE. ONE OF HARVEY'S ASSOCIATES ATTACKS DEE DEE, SCOTTY BARLOW AND AYLA FOR THROWING HIS CASE. QUEEN EVELYN AND THE FAMILY MOVE BECAUSE OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES. NINA GETS A DESIGN INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY IN GOTH DESIGN IN LONDON AND ROY GOES WITH HER. TOYA CONFRONTS THE LEADER OF LEANNE'S CULT WHO INJECTS HER WITH A DEADLY SERUM. LEANNE TELLS NICK SHE IS LEAVING HIM TO PERMANENTLY JOIN THE FLOWER CULT. AADI AND KELLY REUNITE AT THE TRAIN STATION TO START A NEW LIFE.
