Categories help organize the wiki and makes it easier for readers to find content. Categories a page is a member of are listed at the bottom of the page, and the articles in the Read more section at the bottom of all articles are chosen in the categories the article is a member of. Readers can also browse the content available on the wiki starting at Category:Roblox Wiki, the highest-level category for all articles in the Roblox Wiki's category system.
Some categories, called hidden categories, are hidden at the bottom of pages unless the option to show hidden categories is enabled in Special:Preferences. Category:Hidden categories has a list of these categories. Other categories, listed in Category:Special categories are populated automatically by the MediaWiki software or by extensions.
Many categories are intended to be populated only by templates. Before adding a category to a page, check the category page (in the Category namespace) for any notes about what pages belong in the category.
