I’m eager to see what the status website they are working on will show for all of our orders.

The site to track your order status is not yet live but a site with some (limited) details regarding the ABC process is. It includes language regarding the claim process for pre-12/29 orders and supposedly is the site to file a claim.

Havenly sent me the location in an email with more details on the status of my order.

https://www.donlinrecano.com/Clients/idabc/Index

It includes a FAQ which says “Depending on when your order was placed, your items(s) may be at the factory, enroute to customs or on its way to the address you provided when you placed your order. Unfortunately, some orders have not been manufactured and will not be delivered.”

Thanks for sharing this link. It’ll help me make a more informed decision on waiting it out or disputing the charge with our CC

I'd be incredibly surprised if any orders were honored - we ordered in JULY and got jerked around constantly... and are now being told that they have no intention of fulfilling our order.

Not sure if this is the new status website that was promised but it's new to me, and has my correct information. Not sure if it's absolutely current though. https://orderstatus.interiordefine.com/

Did you get an email reading you about it? I never did

I didn’t get an email. I only stumbled across their shade and don’t even remember how.

I ordered my stuff back in March 2022, it finally arrived last Thursday, and in perfect condition. Just an FYI for all other customers. Some orders might still come through.

Still waiting on the promised communication telling me what’s going on (and my furniture and partial refund)

They keep pushing the date back which is special.

Metropolitan Delivery, I’m on the west coast. Unsure if the delivery company changes based on where you are. If you like, I can give you the information I have for them via PM

You're one of the lucky ones!

If ID owes you furniture, or a refund for your furniture, you should have been contacted by a law firm about filing a claim form. DO IT. You might get something back. Definitely contact your bank and try to get your money back first, as customers will probably be the last people to get back what is owed to them once this is settled. Interior Define currently has no cash and owes nearly $100 million to its vendors, employees, landlords, and customers.

I'm going through our credit card first. I'd much rather sick a large bank on them (which has way more pull) than try to get a refund as an individual. I would imagine that the creditors they owe will get paid LONNNNG before their customers, and with the amount their balance sheet shows, customers will never get paid.

A note on their website:

An Update from Interior Define, Inc.

January 4, 2023 (Updated January 17, 2023)

First and foremost, on behalf of the Interior Define community, we want to apologize. During 2022, Interior Define, Inc.’s business experienced several months of severe financial hardship. Due to rapid cost increases related to pandemic supply chain effects and challenging capital markets, Interior Define, Inc. found itself in a position where it could no longer maintain the day-to-day operations of the Interior Define business.

While the go-forward business (the eCommerce site and select Interior Define Studios) will continue on, we are sad to confirm that Interior Define, Inc. has made Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (“ABC”), and parts of the organization will be liquidated by the Assignee over the coming months. At the end of 2022, Interior Define, Inc. sold some of its business assets, including the Interior Define brand, to a third-party buyer with experience in the industry (“Buyer”).

Any customer orders placed on and after December 29, 2022 are unaffected by the sale and the ABC, and will be processed and fulfilled by the Buyer in the normal course of business.

We recognize that the ABC process creates uncertainty regarding orders placed prior to December 29, 2022. Often, in these circumstances, all merchandise would be liquidated by a third party and no customer orders placed prior to December 29, 2022 would be fulfilled. However, the Buyer is working to help fulfill many customer orders by negotiating terms and completing payment with certain unpaid vendors of Interior Define Inc., thereby facilitating the delivery of that merchandise. Due to the number of unfulfilled orders, there is a chance that not all orders placed before December 29, 2022 will be fulfilled. All unfilled orders, refund claims, and cancellations will be processed by the Assignee. If you have an unfilled order placed before December 29, 2022 you will be contacted prior to February 1st with more information.

In the meantime, Interior Define and the Assignee have established a website where you can check order status.

This has been a challenging and quickly evolving process for Interior Define, Inc., and as a result, customer service and store teams often did not have visibility into the status of orders. The teams worked hard to answer customer questions even when not fully informed of the details, and we are sorry for the stress this added to loyal customers. Understandably, this reduced communication has caused frustration and a breach of trust between Interior Define, Inc. and its customers.

As the Buyer works to help try to secure the release of merchandise associated with many customer orders and works to get needed answers to customers, the customer service team will be pausing customer service responses. Going forward we are hoping to rebuild that trust and will communicate directly with this community once we have more answers.

We are truly sorry for how these challenges have impacted Interior Define, Inc.’s, customers, employees, and community.

It seems pretty criminal to me that they're filing bankruptcy on the sections of their business that owe their actual customers, but are somehow able to "sell" the brand, and someone else is continuing operations for new customers? How is that even legal?

I totally agree.

Ordered in May 2022, received our couch today, 10.5 months later, in perfect condition.

NOT STOKED - just went to look at my order status from and order I places in October 2022. I periodically check in about once a month as this is for a client. Last time I checked it was being made and getting ready to ship. Yesterday however, my order was CANCELLED and I was redirected to a claims website. So bummed because interior define before all of this was amazing! I loved purchasing from them because it was a great price point but great quality so they were the perfect piece to put in rec rooms and kitchenettes. Anyone start their claims process? I've never had to do this...
