Shallow, very clear, but weed choked waters. Caught no fish (in the middle of the day). I'd recommend very early AM fishing here, or later, near dusk

I am working on a project in Napa, after work I was looking for something to do. I found Wilsons Springs Ponds online read a couple reviews it sounded like a good place to walk around close by. It was very nice lots of water fowl and numerous other birds. People I met on the trails were very cordial and helpful when I ask questions.

Great trails, stocked ponds, nice views and unless you hit a weird day it is not very crowded during the week. It is also a great place to just walk and see the birds. All kinds of birds, stocked ponds and lovely surroundings, it's a win-win.

This was our first visit to this hidden gem on the edge of the city of Nampa. There is a large parking lot on Powerline Rd, and access to a number of small to larger ponds. Trails seem to go in all directions, allowing lots of viewing opportunities for the throngs of geese, ducks, and other waterfowl. We saw a very large heron perched high on a rock in the middle of one pond, as if surveying it's kingdom. Awesome! There were quite a few people fishing, but our interest was the wildlife. Dogs are allowed on leash, and although some of the trails are dirt, others are paved. Wish we could find a good trail map of the area. Was told that one of the paved trails extended for a mile or more to the Albertson's grocery store on 12th Ave. This site reminds us of the wonderful Kathryn Albertson's Park in Boise. The Boise park is more "polished", but this park offers more than enough to call us back again and again. Love all of the birds!

Well-stocked ponds, great walking paths, a bird-watcher’s dream. A great place for children to learn to fish and opposite a hatchery.

Wilson ponds is in the middle of Nampa and can be easily missed. There are several different ponds stocked with different fish making this a premier place for anglers. A walk on the greenbelt path will take you around the park accessing every pond. This is a great place to come feed ducks, fish, or walk. The Nampa fish hatchery is directly across the street so be sure to stop and take a tour.
