Following a spate of motorists and lorry drivers parking in designated disabled parking spaces, Kildare Gardaí has issued a strongly worded statement posted on the Kildare Garda Facebook page: ‘We are just running out of words when it comes to this type of behaviour. While on beat patrol on Main Street Naas this morning, Naas Community Gardai observed 2 vehicles parking in disabled spots/blocking entry to disabled parking spots- without holding valid permits. FCPNs €150 issued to both. Please respect these spaces they are few and required by those who most need them.’
