RIP y2mate, served me well. sadly, i have been looking for an alternative too. But sofar the next best thing would be to learn how to use youtube-dl.... although its not as comfortable as just putting pp in the url :(((

All you need to do is turn on a vpn & set it to Brazil or Germany & voila you’re in. That message goes away & it’s back to normal, if your vpn is set to one of the allowed countries. Ffs everyone’s acting like it’s dead. It isn’t. It’s just geoblocked. And I’m a girl. A super tech-clueless girl. But I just googled this sht & got my answer & workaround in a second.
Yeah...its not dead..I just read most of the comments...did the same thing using Nord VPN switched from USA server to Denmark Server and BOOM!...the https://y2mate.com is alive.

I was bummed to see y2 down, but once again reddit comes through with multiple working alternatives. Woo-hoo! Or you can use ytmp3 .cc/ or FDM.
