Rachel Skarsten just landed one royal gig.

The Lost Girl alumna will soon join Reign in the series regular role of Queen Elizabeth, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Described as a beautiful, devious twentysomething who is early in her rule, Elizabeth will first appear in the upcoming Season 2 finale.

Outside of playing Lost Girl‘s Tamsin, Skarsten’s TV credits include Beauty and the Beast, The L.A. Complex and Flashpoint.

* Marsha Mason (The Goodbye Girl) will guest-star in an upcoming episode of Madam Secretary, TVLine has learned exclusively. Mason will play Dr. Sherman, a strong-minded therapist for highly placed government officials. Mason’s recent TV credits include The Middle and Army Wives.

* Comedy vet Rob Reiner is slated to guest-star on Happyish, Showtime’s upcoming series about an old-school ad man (Steve Coogan, Philomena) who has trouble adjusting to his new boss’s social media-obsessed ideas. Reiner will appear in two episodes as a version of himself who helps Coogan’s Thom Payne on an important campaign.

* BBC has renewed its psychological thriller The Fall, starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, for a five-episode third season.

* Game of Thrones Season 5 will be simulcast in more than 170 countries for each of its 10 episodes, HBO announced Tuesday. The global event will begin with the series’ stateside return on Sunday, April 12 at 9 pm ET.

* GSN has greenlit two new original series: Steampunk’d, a skill-based competition show following Steampunk artists, and Lie Detectors, a game show that allows the studio audience to decide which of three panelists is telling the truth.

* The first episode of Powers, PlayStation’s first-ever original scripted series, has been made available to those without a PlayStation Plus membership. We’ve embedded the series premiere below, while Episodes 2 and 3 are also available on PlayStation Store.
