All the events that took place during this operation are shown very reliably. The deaths are shown very plausibly, and even I (and I have seen an open fracture and arterial blood from it in my life) were a little warped by these deaths. The characters are shown as green guys who are not ready for such a meat grinder and this helps to immerse themselves in history (like a story about popadantsev). While watching, I didn't know about this operation and thought it was just a category "B" movie, but I was surprised that the US Command could get so worn out, but there are also small shoals with the moment when they picked up AK magazines to shoot from an Emochka. But in order to watch a movie with a lot of shooting and prescribed characters, I suggest watching it.
