They told us that shit when Kronos first came out, but I never saw it work right.
I figured out you can set someone's availability to "unknown" and Kronos won't auto-change anything for them. You can also set a schedule pattern if you want it to auto-fill a certain schedule week after week, instead of doing it all manually. That way you only have to make minor changes when a week is different than the norm. Having both set up that way works really well if you have a similar schedule most weeks.
My manager usually just looks at Kronos’s suggestions, deletes everything and then creates a new one. We all work pretty much the same thing every week. Currently running with a manager, asm and MT right now
Have them set those 2 things up and it'll be a game changer. Little bit of work up front, but way easier making the schedule. Some weeks I don't have to make any edits, just post it and go.
Utilizing schedule patterns and availability markers really does make a work of difference.
The best is when it goes in after you post the scheudle and tries to force your part timers to work 3 hour shifts at stores all across the city.
Yeah or schedule everyone on a Monday and then no one for Tuesday
I have a great pattern that revolves every three weeks for SM, ASM and FT. The best is when Kronos randomly throws in hours on days off or adds a shift so I have to sit and waste time making corrections instead of quality time making calls in Lead Gen 🖕🏼Good times
I never use it, cause its a shit show and always has been
