- You can sort emails by priority by clicking the up and down arrows found at the top.
- Once you are done, click Save to leave the settings menu.

How to Create Rules to Filter Emails in the Yahoo Mobile App
You cannot set up Yahoo rules on mobile within the Yahoo Mail app; however, you can add them to your emails using the Clean Email app.
Here's how to do it:
- Open the Clean Email mobile app - on your iPhone or Android device.
- Click on the Menu icon located in the top left corner.
- Scroll down to find the Smart Folders section, which contains ready-to-use groups of emails. Select the group and emails you want to create a rule for.
- Click the icon near the email group, and a blue action bar will appear below.
- Choose an action, such as Trash or Mark Read, or tap on the three dots (More) and select Create Rule. This allows you to create a rule for incoming messages as well.
- (optional) Click Edit to adjust the rule’s criteria. For example, you can give your new rule a name.
- Look through the options in the Apply Action section and choose the desired action.
- Click the blue button labeled Create Rule to finalize the process.

How to Create a New Rule for Incoming Emails in Clean Email
You can create Yahoo Mail rules within Clean Email using Auto Clean. This feature allows you to set up rules for existing and incoming emails at once.
- First, sign up to Clean Email with your Yahoo email.
- From the Smart Folders, on the left, select the email or emails you want to create a rule for.
- Choose an action within the blue action bar at the bottom of your messages. Click Create Rule.
- Choose any option, for example, Trash, from the Apply Action section. This Auto Clean rule will remove all incoming messages from the trash.
- Select “Apply to existing messages” to apply the same rule to the existing emails using the same criteria.
- Click Create Rule.
