The hotel’s location and views are the best part. The room was mostly very nice with fairly updated bathroom, although some of the furniture needed touch ups. The floor to ceiling glass windows are perfect. The bedding and sheets were extremely fine and everything was very clean. The breakfast restaurant has high ceilings, beautiful views and the food was quite good. The lobby also has a nice seating area as shown in the photo. The service staff were great… very professional.
If walking, best to take the “elevator” up to the lobby from the wedding building at street level.

I always rate hotels based upon the price and the price is very low for this hotel so I think it is very much for the price.

Absolutely amazing views of Mt Fuji from the rooms. Hotel is actually a pretty standard good Japanese hotel in being clean and quiet with helpful polite staff. This hotel costs more because of the outstanding views over the ocean to Mt Fuji!

Chose this place because of the price and the offer of Mount Fuji view. Certainly the view did not disappoint us, love the sea view and Mount Fuji.

Room was spacious and the layout was nice though dated to some extent. The grounds looks like it need some sprucing and maintenance work.

Checkin was efficient though parking came with a price. Maybe hotel should consider free parking for guests as most would be driving to get to this area. We ate at the Japanese restaurant though you had to walk in the rain on the day we were there as the restaurant was located on a annex building. Food was good and service was fine but on the higher end of prices.

I like the neighbourhood vibe, there is a supermarket, hardware/pharmacy and bakery within walking distance from the hotel. There are a few restaurants by the beach and we tried the Pacific place. Prices of food along the beach are much more reasonable.

Would stay here again except that traffic along this stretch of road is very bad as it is only a one lane road and traffic lights at almost every junction. Be prepare for a long and slow drive between hotel to town.

While we had a sea view the window was very cloudy and we were not able to really see much through it. We ordered room service which we were told would come soon however when we called an hour later to check on it, we were told the restaurant was closed and if we wanted to eat to go out. The staff did try hard to be helpful however something in the hotel triggered allergies, not sure if it was mold or what they used to clean, the elevator smelled so bad we held our breath the whole time. They did bring our luggage up for us and again the staff did their very best however the hotel did not have a room safe to store our valuables as advertised. The shuttle bus was handy to get to Shichirigahama Station, however you do have to pay for the Enoden train to get Kamakura.

Checked in on the day they had one of the worst storm for the year. Had to stay indoors and they only had one restaurant. Room is spacious and clean though furnishing is very old. Maybe because of the wet weather, recotpion not manned and hotel staff seems very lean. Couldn’t see Mount Fuji because of heavy rain.

We booked a room called "mystery room" for 12600 Yen. The room we got was ocean view.
The parking was easy to find and the check-in was smooth.
The room was nice and clean.
One thing about Prince Hotel franchise is their lack of decent room service.
An overall average stay. Not so bad but not that great.

Let's start on a positive note: if you get a room facing the sea, the views are pretty nice.

Now for everything else: this is basically a Japanese-style business hotel. That means tiny rooms. Wafer-thin pillows. Cheap sheets. It doesn't have the one-piece plastic bathroom you get in most business hotels, but at 3X the price you expect a little bit of "luxury".

The Y2,500 breakfast buffet is massively overpriced. Powdered eggs.

The muzak in the hallways is loud, unnecessary, and on much longer than it should be.

As others have noted, despite the name this hotel isn't really in Kamakura (which is about 15 minutes away). And it isn't really on the beach. Instead it overlooks its own wedding hall, then a train line (which you can hear in the rooms), the highway, a parking lot, a cement wall, and then the beach. So it isn't convenient. Or cheap. Or particularly nice.

Except for the views.

This is probably one of the best hotels in Kamakura. Being of the Prince chain it doesn't disappoint. Breakfast is good though not particularly impressive. Parking is easy with its own car park. All rooms have great views of the Sagami Bay and Enoshima.

If you are going to Kamakura, this hotel is well worth a splurge. The rooms are huge and extremely comfortable, and the views absolutely cannot be beaten. The hotel itself has nice amenities, and it is very nicely located. If you do not have a car, there is a train station nearby that is nicely convenient for exploring the entire area (the hotel has a shuttle service for this as well).

I found the food at the hotel to be outstanding, and the service was topnotch.

One tip, take the time to stroll up the coast highway from here as there are a number of shops and restaurants that are fun to discover and explore. Had I not done that, I would not have been able to call home to friends in California while having drinks at an absolutely wonderful Tiki Bar I stumbled across!
