Vietnam expects more foreign investment in digital transformation:

The Vietnamese Government expects foreign investors, including those from China to pour more investment in such priority areas as digital transformation, green conversion, telecommunications and AI, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang told Vice President of Huawei Asia Pacific Zhengjun Zhang during a meeting in Hanoi on May 15, the Government News reported.

Deputy PM Quang applauded Huawei's global business outcomes and achievements in market development and diversification of products and services, and its operation in Vietnam.

Mr. Zhang said he hoped that Huawei could join Vietnam's efforts in developing the 5G network, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and green transition.

Huawei has been investing in Vietnam since 1998.
