Chiefs Offseason Report Card: Did Kansas City Pass or Fail?

The Kansas City Chiefs have had an eventful offseason, so how does it stack up to all of the other teams?

The NFL offseason has been very eventful, and there have been a lot of players that have moved around.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox, he gives a grade to each NFL team's offseason. And for the Kansas City Chiefs, he gives them a solid B grade as a result of their urgency to get their core guys back.

"The real win for Kansas City this offseason comes from general manager Brett Veach's approach to roster building," Knox writes. "He got another long-term deal done with defensive tackle Chris Jones and extended tight end Travis Kelce, meaning that Kansas City's core of Jones, Kelce and Patrick Mahomes isn't going anywhere... Kansas City's roster will be different this season, even if it isn't markedly better or worse. Regardless of how the roster looks, it'll be a major surprise if the Chiefs don't embark on another deep playoff run."

One thing that may bring down the grade of the Chiefs' offseason is the fact that Rashee Rice will most likely be out for most of the season as a result of suspension. But that is where Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy will come in.

The Chiefs also traded away cornerback L'Jarius Sneed and his big contract to the Tennessee Titans. As a result, the team could then use that freed up money to fill some of the holes on their roster.
