The NSW South Coast and Southern Highland’s Power FM and 2ST‘s Cash Splash has given away $10,000 with listeners encouraged to support and shop local and scan QR codes in store to enter the draw.

37 local participating businesses had Cash Splash posters in their front window to entice shoppers to shop in store and enter. Daily winners were drawn over four weeks receiving $100 cash each, before Hannah Wilson was announced the Cash Splash major winner, taking home $10,000.

Hannah said:

“It’s unbelievable… I don’t feel like this is real, I keep asking if this is a joke!

A lot of stress has just been lifted off our shoulders.”

Nicholas Purdie, 2ST and Power FM General Manager, said it was a great way to bring the radio stations and communities together:

“We were overwhelmed with the number of entries we received and are proud to have given our listeners over $12,000 in cash prizes since the promotion began! ‘Cash Splash’ was a great example of the power of community spirit and local support.”
