NB: If you're a rational human who has no interest in Terence Morgan, there's nothing to see here. If, however, you're a weirdo who enjoys him an irrational amount, have I got a movie for you!
The Steel Key is the Terence Morgan show, and the degree of pleasure you take from it is directly proportional to the amount of joy you get from watching him wander around in a suit. Me, I take immense joy watching him do anything, particularly when it's stupid, so the movie gets about 35 stars from me.
Johnny O'Flynn (Morgan) is the most cheerful grifter ever to walk the earth, continent-hopping in search of scams and profit, and maintaining excellent relationships with cops worldwide…
Surprisingly competent thriller in which B picture regular Terence Morgan plays a good guy for a change.
Plays a bit like an Edgar Wallace film or episode of The Saint, this tale of a stolen scientific formula and a mysterious death is brief but well done, and you have a bonus character bit from Esma Cannon as a chatty patient in a doctor's surgery.
