Dos Pueblos High School Presents Cole Porter's 'Anything Goes'

The Dos Pueblos High School Theatre Company is thrilled to announce its production of Cole Porter's classic musical, 'Anything Goes.' Directed by Emily Libera, the show will be performed at the Elings Performance Arts Center in Goleta, California from May 9th to May 18th, 2024, with multiple shows scheduled throughout the week.

The talented students of Dos Pueblos High School will transport audiences back to the glamorous era of the 1930s with thisunforgettable production. 'Anything Goes' follows the madcap antics aboard the S.S. American, where love triangles, mistaken identities, and hilarious hijinks unfold against the backdrop of dazzling dance numbers and unforgettable tunes. The show features a motley crew of characters, including Billy Crocker, Reno Sweeney, Moonface Martin, and Hope Harcourt, as they navigate the seas of romance and adventure.

The musical showcases Cole Porter's iconic songs, such as 'I Get A Kick Out Of You,''You're The Top,' and the titular 'Anything Goes.' With a live orchestra pit featuring over a dozen musicians, the production promises to deliver a lively and engaging experience for theater-goers.

Performance dates and times for 'Anything Goes' at the Elings Performance Arts Center are as follows: Thursday, May 9th at 7:00 PM; Friday, May 10th at 7:00 PM; Saturday, May 11th at 7:00 PM; Thursday, May 16th at 7:00 PM; Friday, May 17th at 7:00 PM; and Saturday, May 18th at 7:00 PM. Each show is expected to run approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including intermission.
