Some of us enjoy opening on the actual opening day and not staying up to 12:30 on a weeknight but whatever.

The last time we opened the season in SF was 1998.  The 2nd best year in franchise history.  Glen Foley threw for over 400 yards that day in an epic duel vs steve young.  Was the 1st game in our new look throwback jerseys we would go on to have a lot of success in.

As long as garrison hurst doesnt suit up, we should be just fine.
