Natalis Chan, also known as Nat Chan or Chan Pak Cheung, is an award-winning Hong Kong television host, film actor, and producer. He was born on December 3, 1950 in Hong Kong and made his debut as an actor in 1978. Since then, he has appeared in numerous films and television dramas, including “Flirting Scholar” (1993). In 2015, he was awarded the TVB Anniversary Awards “Lifetime Achievement Award”. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, he is also a horse race commentator and seasoned horse trainer, with many of his horses winning some of the equestrian world’s most prestigious awards.

Of the four great scholars, known throughout the Ming Dynasty for their unparalleled artistic and literary skills, Tong Pak Fu (Stephen Chow) is the most famous. The leading scholar of the famous quartet, Pak Fu’s skills as an artist, poet, and calligrapher are second to none. Though his artistic skills are widely recognized, he has kept his inherited skill as a martial arts master hidden, as his family’s enemies would surely hunt him down, if ever he demonstrated his skill. The husband of eight wives, Pak Fu should have had ample reasons to find joy in life but his wives’ addiction to gambling and their inability to appreciate his skills, have left him feeling lonely and depressed.

Convinced he would be happy, if he could just find his one true love, he sets out to find a woman who can truly appreciate his greatness. On his journey, he stumbles across a convoy from the House of Wah and meets one of the family’s four maids, the beautiful Chow Heung (Gong Li). Convinced Chow Heung is his one true love, Pak Fu disguises himself as a servant and enters the employ of the House of Wah. The life of a servant is difficult, but Fate allows him to rise quickly through the ranks, providing him ample opportunity to woo Chow Heung, but his happiness is short-lived.&nbsp;

When the power-hungry Prince Ning visits the Wah family, things go very wrong. With his true identity revealed and the House of Wah on the brink of total annihilation, Pak Fu must confront one of his family’s greatest rivals or risk losing his one true love forever. Will Pak Fu be able to defeat his greatest foe and win Chow Heung’s hand in marriage or will this be the end of one of the world’s greatest scholars?
