With cherry trees in full blossom, Sakura is just entering middle school. Her beloved Syaoran has returned from Hong Kong, and Sakura was thrilled to be going to school with him again. But one night, something strange happens to her Cards... On top of that, strange things keep happening in Tomoeda. Guided by the Key she encountered in her dream, Sakura starts collecting Cards again. And then, a new girl transfers into her class...

The perfect sequel in every sense

This show comes in a whopping 18-20 years after the previous release and makes you feel like it was just yesterday you were watching the original. Everything about this sequel is on the mark. The animation is gorgeous, the entire cast is EXACTLY the same and everyone sounds as if they haven't aged a day despite the huge gap in production. You can tell this was handled with love and care. If you've seen Cardcaptor Sakura, watch this. If you haven't, go watch that (it's on Crunchyroll!) and come back and watch this. It's worth it.

A blast from the past!

Exactly as the series was before, this couldn't be more perfect. Absolutely everything is perfect, the voices are the same, the art, the music is just wonderful. Everything works without feeling dated. If only Sailor Moon's come back had been given this much care and love!

The hype is so real for this one!

This was one of the first anime I'd become completely absorbed in. I was THRILLED to find out the original voice cast and numerous others returned to this project. While I was excited before, this just took it to another level. From the previews this looks amazing, absolutely can't wait.

OH MY! IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL

YEARS. I WAITED YEARS FOR MORE. The originall series and manga were fantastic and I know this arc will be promising! Cardcaptor sakura is such a classic and all time favorite so of course It gets full stars! I've read the manga for the clear card arc and I'm so excited to see it all animated.
