This is the show's first Halloween episode. Edie Britt's biggest fear comes true when Carlos walks out on their relationship. Susan finds Mike's father, who was supposedly dead. Danielle goes into labor right in the middle of the Halloween party... and somebody has to deliver the baby.

Breanna gets a new art teacher at school called Ms. Natalie Odessa. Unlike all of her old boring teachers Breanna likes Ms.Odessa because she can relate to her students. Unfortunately on a parent-teacher conference Flex tries to hit on Ms.Odessa and Breanna dosen't like this. Fortunately Natalie dosen't fall for all his corny pick up lines. Flex thinks he can still get her but Breanna makes a bet that he can't. Meanwhile Duane tries to move out of his momma's basement. The next night Flex invites her to dinner, but Spirits evasdrops on them, tells Breanna, and she shows up at the dinner instead. She informs him that he's lost the bet but Flex still tries to get her. He attends her annual art fair and once again tries his corny pick up lines but they don't work. Meanwhile Duane finally meets his father, but it turns out that he's only come because he needs Duane's kidney. Also Breanna tries to figure out who Arnaz lost his virginity too, while Spirit works on a unique design to get her way into a fashion college.

The series begins its fourth season with a trip back in time to the 16th century, as Cybill undergoes past-life regression treatment on the advice of her therapist when she begins having erotic dreams about Maryann's jilted beau Richard. She discovers that Maryann's poor choice in men goes back to the days of Henry VIII, when Maryann was Anne Bolyne, and returns to the present just in time to head off a close encounter between Maryann and the despised Dr. Dick. Joining Cybill in the Court of King Henry VIII are Zoey as Ariel's father, Ira as her brother the poet, and Justin as a serving wench.
