Born in Chicago, Robert Bernacchi began working on the sets of films such as HOME ALONE, MUSIC BOX and NEXT OF KIN. In 1991, Robert relocated to Italy where he was based until 2013.

During the 90s, Robert worked in the Italian film industry. In 1999, Robert returned to the int?l arena on Julie Taymor?s film TITUS starring Anthony Hopkins and Jessica Lange.

Robert had the fortune of working with directors and producers such as the English-language debut of Korean director Joon-ho Bong SNOWPIERCER which stars Chris Evans, John Hurt, Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, and Octavia Spencer, Guillermo Del Toro on BLADE 2, and Ridley & Tony Scott on the Golden Globe nominated mini-series THE COMPANY.

In 2002, Robert produced UNDERWORLD, the first of four films for Lakeshore Entertainment. UNDERWORLD went on to create a five-film franchise.

Other films produced during this period include TOWN CREEK directed by Joel Schumacher, A PERFECT GETAWAY written & directed by David Twohy and THE WHISTLEBLOWER, starring Rachel Weisz, Vanessa Redgrave, David Strathairn and Monica Bellucci, winner of the Best Narrative Feature at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in 2011.

In 2010, Robert produced THE RITE for Warner Bros starring Anthony Hopkins and THE MISSIONARY, a pilot for HBO directed by Baltasar Kormakur and Exec Produced by Mark Wahlberg written by Charles Randolph and Malcolm Gladwell.

In 2013, Robert relocated to Santa Monica and continued to produce internationally with ROSEMARY?S BABY directed by Agnieska Holland, shot on location in Paris, JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 for Lionsgate shot in NYC and Rome and WONDERWELL, an independent feature starring Carrie Fischer & Rita Ora shot in Rome?s Cinecitta? and Tuscany.

In June 2017, Robert went in-house at Skydance Media where he served as VP of Production, Television thru June 2018. At Skydance, Robert?s goal was to gain vital experience in episodic television to enable him to broaden his opportunities in television as the industry shifted significantly to stream-based platforms. Immediately after Skydance, Robert went on to Produce season one of WHISKEY CAVALIER for Warner Bros/ABC and is currently producing HALO (perhaps the largest television of all time) for Showtime/Amblin/Microsoft.

Robert has worked in more than 15 countries and speaks multiple languages.
