AMI BIOS initiates ONLY after waiting an undetermined amount of time before pressing the power button again...
I have noticed this little detail while trying to go past the boot screen on my Windows 11 pc. I tried a lot of solutions posted on the internet (taking RAM on/off, replace motherboard battery, BIOS update through USB, etc.). I hold on the power button for 10-15 and there's no difference on booting screen. I had gone though this situation at a different time and what worked (surprisingly) was to leave the PC intact for a while, boot it up and getting to the AMI BIOS screen to THEN run the UEFI BIOS without changing any settings. And viola, it works again. I hadn't done any changes to my hardware or any other components in the BIOS menus.
I had not encountered any problems until a random visual glitch made me force shut down my PC couple days ago. And I am back to this situation and proceeded to go through what I did last time.
This time around it hasn't been able to work and I'm running out of options. It had booted once the night before (after taking a nap to pass time) and turned it off as usual only to end up in this cycle once again.
I'm currently waiting to boot the PC once again and hopefully get to the alternate boot screen.
Has anyone encountered this? Do I have a deeper problem like a faulty motherboard?
Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
