Travel Guide for Nami Island in May (Updated 2024)

A must visit place in Korea!! Located near Seoul, Nami Island is a beautiful island that is among the most popular attractions in Korea. Some people may ask: What is the best time to visit to this place? To be honest, there is no best time as every season offers different beautiful scenery but Autumn is just my thing with the vibrant colour of landscaped trees and maple leaves around ♥️♥️😄 🍁Transportation: (personally I chose ITX but there are other options as well) - From Cheongnyangni Station, purchase the tickets directly in the train counter - Board ITX train to Gapyeong Station - Suppose to hop abroad the Gapyeong City Tour Bus to the wharf but it was too crowded so we decided to take the taxi (not really remember but i think it took around 10 min and costs roughly KRW 3500 - KRW 4000) - Taking the ferry to the island directly —— > Highly recommend to go there early morning if you are going to French Village as well as the ferry queue from Nami Island back to the Wharf is crazy (we waited for more than 1 hour🥲🥲) and we ended up miss the operation hour of the village 🥲 #namiisland #seoul #korea

Nami island is picturesque and amazing all year round. But you can expect these views if you’re going to Nami Island on upcoming autumn. There is so many tour bus package going to nami island but we decided to take the subway all the way from seoul to gapyeong station and then bus to the ferry station. Pretty yellow autumn foliage at Nami island. There are a few photo spots to take at Nami island including the train tracks, ginko trees etc. Suggest to take the first ferry at around 7+ as it can be quite crowded after 10+. Alternatively, can stay nearby the ferry area so that you can reach Nami island early. There is a shop that sell Hotteok that you can try after walking around Nami. #fallishere #nami #korea
