Coronation Street confirms new mystery as fate is 'sealed' in 23 pictures | Soaps | Metro News
Coronation Street serves up the shocks next week with the launch of yet another mystery as one of the residents is attacked by an unknown assailant, as confirmed in my picture gallery above.
Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) has made it her mission to get to the bottom of what really happened, hoping to solve the crime and free Roy – and it’s safe to say she’s got her theories about who is to blame for Lauren’s vanishing.
The return of paedophile Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper) has left the journalist reeling but she’s more convinced that ever that he’s the one to blame for the crime and therefore she starts to investigate in detail next week.
Nathan, however, gets wind of what she’s up to, with a heated showdown ensuing between the two. Later, the villain returns to the building site where he works and, in shocking scenes, he’s approached by a hooded figure – and knocked unconscious!
The question is: just who carried out the attack?
Sorry, this video isn't available any more.
Elsewhere, Bernie Winter’s (Jane Hazelgrove) behaviour sparks concern, with Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) asking Dev Alahan (Jimmi Hariskhin) to investigate.
Bernie’s search proves futile, however, with the last Christopher Green on her list having died of cancer, leaving her worried that she’s lost the chance to get to know her son.
But will this prove to be the case? Has Bernie really lost out on her chance to reunite with her son? Or is there more to this tale than meets the eye?
Either way, next week is a must-watch!
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday May 13 and Friday May 17 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
