Hilton Osaka is often commended for its prime location near Osaka Station, offering guests convenient access to transport and local amenities. While the hotel's cleanliness and professional service generally earn praise, some guests have experienced inconsistencies in housekeeping. The rooms receive mixed reviews; they are noted for their spaciousness and Japanese decor by some, but others find them in need of an update. Opinions on value are divided, as certain travelers consider the pricing steep relative to the hotel's offerings.

Really nice hotel just across the road from Osaka Station. A great location for hopping on trains for sightseeing. Very comfortable and spacious room and a good choice of restaurants within the hotel. The set dinner in Centrum Grill and Wine was superb and we enjoyed a couple of excellent light meals in MyPlace Cafe and Bar. The staff everywhere were extremely pleasant and welcoming and a special mention for Don at the concierge desk who helped us with the arrangements for our baggage to be sent on to our Tokyo hotel, carefully checking that the hotel would be happy to receive it a few days early. This enabled us to travel to Kyoto by train with hand luggage only for a couple of days before our Tokyo visit.

We checked in several hours early as we were only travelling from Kyoto. We were just expecting to leave our bags until check in time but we were offered an upgrade to a suite which was ready immediately for quite a reasonable extra charge. It was super spacious with an expansive view. Nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Liked the little touches like 2 makeup mirrors.
On the day we arrived a large model railway display had just opened in the hotel foyer. This was a highlight for us, we really loved it.
The hotel is in in a great location very close to the main Shin-Osaka Station (note this is not the shinkansen station).
We enjoyed the Executive Lounge, nice variety of food and never crowded. Breakfasts were very enjoyable but of course there was a lot more variety at the main restaurant buffet. Just a shame the Executive Club is not on a higher floor with a view of the city.
All the staff we dealt with were helpful and friendly.
One negative for us was the rollaway bed provided for our adult son which was very uncomfortable. It was improved somewhat when we requested a soft underlay.
We would stay here again next time we are in Osaka.

Our executive king room was comfortable but dated, with a rather outmoded TV.
The Executive Club Lounge did not open until three PM, but offered afternoon tea and evening canapes, which included salads, two hot dishes and desserts. There was also the usual free flow of beer, spirits and wine including Chandon Brut. Breakfast in the restaurant was the usual buffet spread; fine but nothing to write home about.
Sadly the pool was closed during our visit.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I received lounge access, complimentary breakfast and an upgrade to an executive king room, although we were told at check in that we could pay extra for a suite.
All members of staff were friendly and professional.
Pre-stay emails were answered promptly and requests granted.

Have stayed in this property a few times now and again always exceeding all expectations. The service and friendliness of the staff at front desk is outstanding and so also at the 2nd floor breakfast restaurant. The selection of food is great and always nice to stay at this hotel. It makes you feel safe that plastic gloves are still used at the buffet area. Will be back again.

The Hilton Osaka is perhaps the nicest full-service Hilton I've stayed at so far. The rooms are spacious and clean, with tasteful Japanese decor elements. The service is impeccable. A special shoutout goes to the Executive Lounge staff who were attentive, accommodating, and very hygiene-conscious.

The Executive Lounge serves breakfast, afternoon tea, and a light dinner to those who have access. Theoretically, you need not step foot outdoors for food (though you certainly should in Osaka!).

Access from the train station is via tunnel: budget a solid 10 minutes to get from the hotel to your JR train to be safe.

Whilst the staff are very friendly, the hotel leaves a lot to be desied if you are travelling as a family unit.We have 2 kids, aged 6 and 3. The room has 2 small twin beds which makes sleeping very tight and uncomfortable.
Housekeeping only provides 2 bath towels despite being asked on each of the 3 days we stayed that we needed 4 towels. The laundry list and bag was never replaced and had to call Housekeeping to have this done.
The one to top it all although, was to be charged USD9.50 for a take away coffee in the breakfast room as there was nowhere else to get a coffee before 08.00!
Try another hotel is my advice which is a pity as the location is great.

I’ve stayed here twice: once with my mom who is a Hilton employee and a Gold member and once with my bf. I also hold Gold status with Hilton.

Both times I went was during the beginning of corona and on a weekday. When my mother checked in, she was given a room on the 18th floor. When I checked in the second time, I was placed on the 32nd floor and boy did it make a difference. I actually asked to be upgraded so I think that’s why I got a higher floor. Even though the room types are the same, the 32nd floor one was newly renovated inside whereas the 18th floor one was only partially. You can tell when you look at the door and the bathroom.

Regardless of the outside of Hilton which looks a bit outdated, the lobby was still beautiful. The lounge, my oh my, was it amazing or what. They had a large variety and also it was soo tasty. The view was also pretty good. Breakfast buffet was like your typical Asian Hilton hotels which are like 5 star hotels in the west aka amazing breakfast. They had everything literally! Staff members were also very friendly.

The hotel is very central with underground walkway connecting to Osaka and Umeda station. It is also just a 10-min ride to Shin-Osaka station which is the station for bullet train providing a seamless transport to Tokyo.

The hotel itself is also connected with a shopping mall called "Hilton Plaza" with many luxury brands.

We stayed in a deluxe room since we didn't get upgraded despite being a diamond member (Understandable for Christmas). However it is quite spacious and the bed is very comfortable.

Being a diamond member we were granted a lounge access which includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktail all in the comfort of the lounge. The executive lounge is very modern and large compared to other Hilton properties I've been to.
The afternoon tea is my favourite, there are lots of delicious patisseries to choose from.

The lounge concierge also gave us a map for places to see and some recommendations which are much appreciated. She also helped us arrange a transport to Shin-Osaka on our last day which went perfectly as planned.

The location is fantastic. The hotel is directly connected to the train subway maze which can be confusing but very convenient when you figure it out. Lobby was spacious and welcoming though busy at times. Rooms are clean and comfortable and like all Japanese hotels are very minimalistic which is a good thing but could be cheaper. You are literally in the middle of everything and connected to a mall and amazing food outlets which Osaka is famous for. Bell boy actually walked us to the bus station with all our luggage when checking out as we had a child and were quite loaded. Will never forget that gesture as even though bus pick up was close it was impossible to take all our things in one go. The bellboy also waited for the bus to come then loaded our stuff on the bus. I was shocked. Thank you buddy.

This hotel is so comfortable and located right next to the Osaka Station. Check in was fast and the hotel rooms were spacious. We reserved adjoining rooms which was perfect for four people. Each room has two bottles of complementary bottled water. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of American and Japanese foods. Everything was delicious especially the soups. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There are many eateries and convenient stores nearby. The only downside was that the shoji doors didn’t close the all the way so there was a crack left open for the sun to creep into the room everyday, also there was a tear in the wall paper in the master room. I really enjoyed staying here and would stay here again.

There is hi speed internet, but personally I would not rebook this hotel. The rooms are tiny, the ex lounge is full of 3-4 yr old kids, and the menu never varies. Im not wild about Hilton in Japan!
