Delusional, paranoid film-making that walks close to the line in calling for Presidential assassination as it comes to a close. Putrid garbage.
Conservative paranoia: a completely biased account of a relevant issue. A contrived collection of loose facts used to support a conspiracy theory that the liberal government has an agenda to rid the people of their arms in order to gain power over its people. The word of god is not a relevant factor in the debate but it is a repeating argument point throughout the film. The director started off with what could have been an interesting film but quickly degrades the potential in order to maintain his narrow perspective.
tl;dr: a bunch of old white people getting choked up while rambling about the meaning of freedom and it's relationship with firearms.
Far too many shots of the director/writer walking up steps and around various scenery, but nevertheless a good look at the agenda war that America is embroiled in.
Kudos to netflix for finally putting up a pro-gun piece!
i try to be open minded about opinions differing from mine but i honestly couldn’t finish this due to the fact that this is all white people complaining about their “rights” being taken away and im honestly infuriated by it
this shit sucks and i say that as the director please don’t hold it against me now i wish every record of this biased bullshit could be expunged I’m sorry everyone
I guess I'm kind of pro-gun in a very anti-gun state. It's a recreational thing for me. I like the sport. I like learning about military history involving guns. I've never used guns for personal protection and have never had any plans to go hunting. I belong to a club / range (required to obtain a license) and I'm occasionally involved in the community there. I promote safety often and take that shit seriously.
I found myself happy to see a pro-gun doc on Netflix at first. It just seemed like some balance was needed to counter the endless amount of anti-gun pieces out there. But man, are the people in this particular doc not doing a thing to argue…
this documentary is ass. its so bad. it’s so so biased and it’s mainly just old white men acting like the world will end once their gun rights get taken away.
