we're getting married!

It all started in 2013 in Waterville, Maine. It was Meghan's second week at Colby College. The field hockey team just had a tough loss against Tufts and needed to blow off some steam. They organized a mixer with the baseball team to boost morale and have some of the new incoming players meet other athletes on campus. And what better way to do that than a handcuff party? Two names were picked out of a hat, with each baseball player and field hockey player pair zip-tied to one another at the wrist, they would mingle and share a few drinks while "handcuffed" together. Meghan, a freshman at her first real college party, walked to the middle of the baseball apartment as her name was called. She was met by a junior guy with big blue eyes and a kind smile. He was sporting a buzz cut and purple checkered Ralph Lauren shirt. Peter was immediately struck by his partner's style, wearing a white top, black skirt and the infamous converse sneakers. The pair clicked right away. As fate would have it, Peter and Meghan were handcuffed together. And the rest is history... We are so excited to show you around Boston! The Boston Public Library is a special place. Peter grew up on Gloucester Street in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, just a couple of blocks away from the library. Meghan, a former Northeastern student, used to spend many hours during finals week studying at the tables with the green lamps in Bates Hall where you will be eating dinner the night of the wedding. We cannot wait to celebrate with you and make you fall in love with Boston like we have.
