I bought this video when it first came out, I was 13 years old, and I used to watch it every single day. I still have it today almost 20 years later. Every now and again I'll do a search hoping someday it will come on DVD. This is absolutely one of my favorites. It's not a concert VHS, it's mostly all behind the scenes. It made (and still does) me feel like I'm part of the band, part of the crew, vintage Bon Jovi. Anyone who loved the band during the late 80s or early 90s would love it. Maybe it's just one of those things you grow up with, but will always be #1 to me!
I was still in high school when this was released in 1990. Back then I aspired to be in the music business - in a band, and flocked toward anything that would inspire me or show me what it was really like to do it. Well, this was it. This shows you how grueling the New Jersey tour was, and does a pretty good job of keeping it together for you. If you're looking for well produced audience-perspective performances then this is not for you. This is all about what happens off the stage. Its all the about the band and the crew that made it happen - why they took a hiatus afterward, and why they were never quite the same band again. I highly recommend this, although I'd prefer it on DVD if it was available. For serious fans and people wondering what it was like to tour as an 80's hair band, it doesn't get much better (or real) than this.
This is a must have for any fan!!! Great behind the scenes footage!!! Wonderful to see the guys react to each other and the rest of the crew!!! Lots of overseas behind the scenes! A+
