Michael Endler is an American screen and TV writer, who wrote the Season 1 episode In Mork We Trust

Biography[]

Career[]

Endler's first screen credit was on the seminal Norman Lear show Maude, starring Beatrice Arthur. He worked as a story editor and consultant on the show from 1977 - 1978 and also co-wrote one of the best remembered episodes The Gay Bar (1977). He went on to work as writer and story consultant for a few episodes of the short lived Hello Larry (1980), and Joe's World (1980).

He co-wrote the movie Rodney Dangerfield / Joe Pecsi movie (1983) with Dangerfield and then went to produce the Rodney Dangerfield movie Back to School (1986) which was also his last screen credit.

Mork & Mindy[]

Michael Endler wrote just the one episode for the first season of Mork & Mindy, In Mork We Trust, a Bickley centered episode, where Mindy discovers items keep disappearing from her department and her and Mork's investigations lead them to their downstairs' neighbor, especially after he's stolen Mork's Orkan Aging machine without knowing what he has.
