Helen Parrish's acting career spanned silent films, talkies, radio and television.

She debuted in 1927 playing the daughter of Babe Ruth in "The Babe Comes Home."

Parrish graduated to talking pictures in 1929 with a role with William "Hopalong Cassidy" Boyd and went on to featured parts in the "Our Gang" comedies.

During her movie career, Parrish was featured with some of filmdom's top artists — including John Wayne, Jackie Cooper, Deanna Durbin, Joan Crawford and Irene Dunne.

Parrish virtually abandoned films for television in New York in 1945. She was the hostess on the "Hour Glass" variety show from New York for two years before returning to the West Coast, where the television industry was booming.

Her last TV effort was in 1955 as woman's editor on KNXT's Panorama Pacific, a pioneer in morning-hours TV on the West Coast.
