Suhana Khan reveals what was it like to be superstar Shah Rukh Khan's daughter; says she 'hated the attention'

Suhana Khan, who is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with 'The Archies', recently opened up about how she never liked the spotlight and the attention she got for being Shah Rukh Khan's daughter while growing up.
In her first interview with Vogue in 2018, Suhana Khan discussed what it was like growing up as the daughter of a superstar. She revealed that she sensed their family was different from others at a very young age.Despite being aware of her father's fame, she didn't perceive him as excessively famous. Suhana shared that during her school days, her dad would drop her off, and she would experience people pointing and staring at her.

Suhana Khan further explained that she often found herself being identified as SRK's daughter, but she wished for her dad to be recognized as "Suhana's papa." She shared that when Shah Rukh wanted to give her a hug after dropping her at school, she would push him back into the car because she disliked all the attention that came with being in the spotlight.

In the same interview, Suhana Khan revealed that as the years went by, she came to realize the reality of the situation. She understood that Shah Rukh Khan is her father, and if she wanted to hug him, she could do so without worrying about the attention or external perceptions.

'The Archies' will also mark the debut of Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and Boney Kapoor's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor. The Zoya Akhtar directorial will be released on an OTT platform on December 7.
Apart from this, Suhana has been roped in for Sujoy Ghosh's movie where she will be seen sharing the screen space with her superstar father. Titled, 'King', Suhana will be seen playing the role of a spy, while Shah Rukh would be her handler.
