I personally like how all the Professors care for each student and develop a relationship with each student, guiding us to be the best we can be. I don’t think Ocean County College needs any improvements.
I loved my time here at occ. Athletics was probably the best part about this school. It really helped to bring people together even the students with the administration.
Very good character-building experience. Ocean County College's professors are very helpful and the class sizes are small which makes it easier to have relationships with students and teachers.
Since I started college later in life and mostly attended as a single mom it has taken me quite a few years to get to where I am today, accepted into the nursing program and starting Fall 2024. Ocean County College has always worked with my schedule and has assisted me in any way they have been able to. Professors and administrative staff are super helpful and they want you to succeed.
Ocean county provides great options for classes online. It is a perfect choice for individuals who are older, working, or have families. I have been able to maintain two jobs and complete all my classes online. There are a wide selection of classes online and the professors have always been helpful.
Overall i've had a good experience so far. The campus is nice with many different places to sit and do work or hangout and eat. The only thing that could use some change is perhaps bringing in a more diversified optioning of food choices.
I am a 43-year-old and on my bucket list I would like to at least get my associations degree with liberal arts. I would like someone to sit down with me so I can understand all about the scholarships and money that is available for students that are permanently disabled. I can get a ride there but all my classes will be online. Please get back to me at 2012648726. There should also be transcripts coming from grand canyon university. Please get back to me as soon as possible so I can get as much to finish out my school at Ocean community college.

I appreciated all of the help with transferring. The professors are very accommodating with other things going on in your life.
Been a productive experience has been smooth and gave me skills need to be able to move onto a four year college.
Ocean County College was a huge stepping stone in my educational journey. I am so grateful to have been able to attend OCC and take classes with wonderful teachers who shaped my educational career. In December, I will officially have completed my associates degree with Ocean County College. The school was clean, organised and well run. There are plenty of clubs and activities to join and participate in, and there was never a dull moment. Colleges would visit everyday in the Student Center to initiate transfer options to other schools. I enjoyed all of my classes and teachers. The professors were always motivated to teach us and had great character and knowledge. Although I enjoyed my time here at Ocean County College, I would like to see more options on offering online and hybrid courses. I took only one hybrid class and I did well in it, but they later took away most of the opportunities for it.
Ocean county college is a good college with multiple resources and help at any building! The online classes are amazing and they have many resources and way to help you in the class. I would like to see change in how they manage class scheduling as the website can have some problems.
Wish it was more communicative during transfer processes, and wish it had more to offer with picking out your majors.
My overall experience with Ocean County College has been pretty great. I have good professors and good classes, and the classes I am taking don't have an overwhelming amount of coursework either which is amazing when I work after class most days. The only thing that I am having a hard time with is getting the extra help that I need from the admins for my IEP and figuring out how some admins can help me transfer to a 4 year when I graduate with my associates this fall.
It's not the most enjoyable experience to attend a community college, especially when you watch all of your friends at colleges having a good time, making new friends, partying, joining sororities, and doing other things you might be losing out on. Since I was unable to have the same experience that I watched everyone else having, I began to feel really upset and lonely. I didn't start to really appreciate it until the beginning of spring semester at Ocean County College. In the English class I was enrolled in, I met someone. Due to the fact that we were in a comparable situation, we quickly became the best of friends. She had a significant influence on my life and encouraged me to see the good in everything. I am quite happy that I went to community college because I know I would have never met her otherwise.
My experience was different due to the pandemic. As classes switched online, professors tried their best to convert an online classroom into a nice learning environment. My first year there was great, I had plenty of people there to assist with any questions I had.
My experience in ocean county college it’s awesome. I have learned so much even taking classes online because I work full-time. I don’t have enough time to go in person. But I will recommend my friends to take classes in Ocean County College. It’s great to start taking a career become a better person in the future and have a better job. Better opportunities.
My college experience here has taught me very much, about both education and life. I have encountered different people here from all walks in life, those the same age as me, and those double or even triple my age. OCC has taught me to work hard to get to where I want to be. As well as that it is okay to make mistakes, what matters is how you work to fix them. I have enjoyed my experience at this school, both in person and online, there is much diversity I have seen with personalities as well. People with different drives, work ethics, and overall goals, the biggest challenge is to find the individuals who align with yours.
