My overall high school experience has been amazing! The teachers are so nice and everyone is so kind to each other. Making friends is very easy and everyone is different. I started going to South Broward High School during 2020 quarantine and being online wasn't that bad. I still made friends and the teachers are always encouraging you to be better. The only bad part about being online is you can't go to school in person to get the full experience but, that didn't stop me from having fun. The teachers supplies every student with tools to succeed and this school really cares about It's students. I love this school so much and the faculties are so sweet. I always conversate with them any time I get a chance to. The food at this school is alright but, I prefer the restaurants next to the school. My overall rating of this school would be an 8/10!
I've been in South Broward for almost 2 years. I have experienced nothing but kindness from administration and teachers. I've had a few bad days but it was fixed in a matter of no time! One thing I would change is definitely the food choices. Most of the time it's pizza in 4 forms. I get tired of it after a while but other than that i think the school is amazing.
As a student at South Broward High School, I've had a mixed experience. On the bright side, the school's diversity has exposed me to different cultures and perspectives, enriching my learning experience. I've also appreciated the academic opportunities, like advanced placement courses, that have challenged me to excel.
However, there are areas for improvement. The school's resources sometimes feel limited, impacting extracurricular activities and support services. Additionally, the facilities could use some upgrades to provide a better learning environment.
Overall, I'd like to see more focus on equity and inclusion, ensuring that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed. With some changes, South Broward High School could provide an even better experience for its students.

South Broward High School became a second home for me, an immigrant, who came scared of prejudice but was welcomed with open arms and attitudes. The best part of my ongoing experience in South Broward is the diversity. There is no hate, no racism, no prejudice. I can see students and staff from different parts of the world and this makes me feel safe and understood. The worst part, I would say, which is the problem in many schools, is the food. While we are offered free lunches and breakfasts, I do believe that there is place for improvements for the food that is offered in school cafeterias.
I enjoy going to this High School, all the teachers are very friendly and helpful. Campus is always clean and nice. Best experience is being at school and finding new people and hobbies, and having teachers who want to help you. Worst experience is dealing with some of school administrators which may give you not the best attitude, but they still are helpful
It is a school with good diversity and good programs for the students by giving them more opportunities
I would recommend South Broward High School to anybody with a high school student that doesn't mind the bare minimum high school experience.
South Broward High school has a diverse population of students from all backgrounds. The teachers and staff care about all the students.
Being a South Broward High School student for 4 years has been the best thing that has happened to me. I am able to excell in academics, perform to my best abilities in co-curricular activities, and create team bonding with my peers. Being part of South Broward High School makes me feel good about myself. I know that the staff is here to help me become college prepared. At SBHS, our goal is to be able to read, write, read, speak, and think critically for college, carreer, and life. This School has prepared me as best as possible all 4 years I have attended. I can proudly say I am a bulldog who loves where I am at and what I do. As a SBHS student, I represent my school with pride in everything I do and work my hardest to make not only my family, but my loving and caring teachers proud. I love South Broward High School with all my heart and would not change it for a thing. I appreciate all the love shown on campus and all the help constantly provided. I am a proud South Broward Bulldog.
The teachers here really sadly don’t teach most of them just sadly sit on the desk all day and hand out work but don’t really teach it’s A easy A but it’s soon gets tiring because at some point you actually want to learn but they don’t really do that here they got very poor teaching schools they let you do a bit to much what ever you want do here it’s not a great school however the administration here are the best
Exceptional educational institution with dedicated educators and caring staff, offering a plethora of activities for students to explore.
The school is known for its diversity and inclusive environment. The teachers are highly rated and are known to be supportive of their students. The school’s sports teams, art programs, and marching band are also highly regarded. However, some students have reported issues with the tardy center, which can make them late for class 1. Some students have also reported that the facilities are outdated and lack resources.
Throughout my four years of experience in South Broward there have been several exemplary educators that have moved both me and a number of my peers. Numerous staff have proven to be considerably supportive throughout the journey that is to college and career readiness. Despite this, no school can be completely ideal. During my time I have encountered those that do not hold respect and understanding towards students in the same regard to their co-educators and staff. Along with this it is also to be noted that the lunch is not necessarily inedible, but most definitely not up to par with those food items that are available in the several vending machines all across the campus. Unfortunately, the expense of vending machine items does significantly rack up overtime. In spite of the few downfalls to South Broward, they can easily be overlooked as the educational value overweighs the cons.
my experience at south broward high school was like no other. i felt validated, i felt happy. and i felt emotionally safe. south broward doesnt have a problem with bullying or racism. as it is an extremely diverse and open school. the teachers are amazing. not only are they great at their job, theyre great at being your friend. they are there for you emotionally as well as academically. i can confidently say the same about south broward high's administration team. they might be a little strict but thats well needed for our generation. we would be doomed without their proper guidance. they help keep the school safe, clean, and an overall happy environment for the students. south broward high school's sports teams are absolutely amazing. the football team is extremely good at what they do. the basketball team is great and i can honestly see some of the players making it big one day. not only are the sports good, so are the art programs, and marching band. thanks to the wonderful culture.
South broward high school was my number one choice to go to, not because of where it is or if my friends go there, but because if the programs they offer. The school spirt, the family they create and the high standards are what make South broward. I wouldn't change much but if somthing it would be the location, I do live about 30 minutes away and wake up for the bus at 5 am but it'd worth it.
As a senior from South Broward who started their freshman year online due to the pandemic, I did not know what to expect from South Broward, or high school in general. While being enrolled in the Cambridge Program, I believe that my experience in South Broward has been exceptional. The quality of education I have received is incredible and has changed me as a person during the four years I have attended this school. I have made various friends as well and met new people in the clubs and activities the school offers, and most importantly had a lot of fun. Graduating from South Broward High School is a privilege and will be emotional when I walk the stage at graduation.
In my school they have never been perfect but they try their best for being able to prepare us for life beyond high school. The teachers are their to try to be involved with the kids to try and be there for them but some teachers does not care to prepare them.
