Danna Paola (born 23 June 1995) is a Mexican actress, singer, model, fashion designer and philanthropist. She portrays Lu on Netflix's Elite.
On May 19, 2020, Netflix announced that she, Ester Expósito, Jorge López, Álvaro Rico and Mina El Hammani would not return for any further seasons after season three.
The singer went to the Mexican program, El Hormiguero and stated that she left the series to dedicate herself entirely to music and there is no possibility of returning to act as Lu.[1] However, she recently said she was open to returning for Season 8.

Paola was born in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. She is known for Amy, the Girl with the Blue Schoolbag (2004), Querida Enemiga (2008), XHDRbZ (2002) and Atrévete a Soñar (2009).
