Desktop or Laptop Browsers:​

Mobile and tablets:​

  • Android v5.0+

  • iOS v10+

  • iPad v10+​

Living room devices​:

  • Android TVs with TV OS 7.0 or above

  • Chromecast (Gen 2 onwards, firmware 1.43 & above) and TVs with Chromecast built-in

  • Apple tvOS 11+ (Gen 4 above)

  • LG TV (web OS 4.0 or above- not available on TV M3)

  • Fire TV

  • Samsung TVs* (2018 models or above with Tizen operating system)

  • Google Chromecast Gen 2 for casting (Physical devices only

  • Hisense Smart TVs and Toshiba Smart TVs with VIDAA OS U6 1.2 ​

**Please note that Smart TVs require HDCP V2 & HDCP V2.2 for Full HD (1080p) and 4K Ultra HD (2160p) content playback, respectively.

We continually assess, add and remove devices, so the above list may not be exhaustive.​

Users can continue to stream content on supported web browsers, mobile applications and connected devices. Streaming on mobile browsers will not be possible – and users will be prompted to download the mobile App for an optimal streaming.

Please Note:

  • With the Mobile Plan: content can be viewed only on a Mobile device.

  • With Super and Premium Plan: All content can be enjoyed on any of our supported platforms (Mobile, Web and supported Living Room devices).

We have updated the viewing options for Smart TVs, Connected TVs, and Desktops. Access to Disney+ Hotstar's extensive library on these devices is now available only through our Super Plan or Premium Plan. However, Sports clips, highlights and content trailers continue to be free on these devices. Furthermore, users can still enjoy all content on their mobiles through the mobile subscription, and continue to access existing and future ‘free’ content on their mobile devices, including major sports properties like the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.
