As women's football continues to grow at an exceptional pace, the Women's Champions League is quickly becoming one of the world's most preeminent club competitions.
Defending champions Barcelona, who have won two of the past three Champions League crowns and reached each of the previous three finals, will look to continue building upon their recent European dominance. They have yet again reached the final of this competition, remaining dominant on a continental scale.
Meanwhile, other top European women's sides have attempted to break the growing Spanish dynasty, with Lyon, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain amongst the top challengers along with Barcelona's hated rivals Real Madrid. French side Lyon are the last ones standing, set to contest the final and hoping for an upset just like they enjoyed two years ago over this very opponent.
