This was better than any series out there. WHY OH WHY WAS THERE ONLY ONE SEASON RELEASED. I spent grad school on the Amazon Basin, on the Rio Napa, around the villages of Tena, Jatun Sacha in Ecuador. I loved this series so much. the legends, stories, mystery all go back to a zillion stories of the peoples, and this movie was such an enchantment of that to me...I loved this series..PLEASE CONTINUE THIS SERIES!

No entiendo por qué esta serie tiene malas reseñas en rottentomatoes, es una serie maravillosa, llena de misterio, buenas actuaciones y una historia fascinante que nos encantó desde la primera vez que la vimos hace años. Por eso fue que la compramos, para poder volver a verla de lo mucho que nos gustó. No voy a hacer una reseña entera, solo decirles que la serie sucede en el Amazonas donde hay algo extraño que sucede. Los tripulantes están en la búsqueda del esposo de la que dirige la expedición, y todo se ve a través de cámaras que graban lo que va sucediendo, lo cual es un acierto porque la hace sentir distinta a muchas otras series que he visto. Es una serie llena de magia y algo de terror, lo cual lo mantiene a uno pegado al borde del asiento.

Si no se la han visto, obvien los comentarios al respecto y dense esa oportunidad, es en serio muy bien hecha, nos devoramos los capítulos en pocos días, uno ya quiere saber qué va a pasar. Tal vez el único capítulo algo flojo es el primero, pero empieza a escalar poniéndose muy MUY buena.

I don't understand why this series has bad reviews on rottentomatoes, it's a wonderful series, full of mystery, good performances and a fascinating story that we loved from the first time we watched it years ago. That's why we bought it, so we could watch it again because of how much we loved it. I'm not going to do a whole review, just tell you that the series takes place in the Amazon where there is something strange going on. The crew members are in search of the husband of the one who leads the expedition, and everything is seen through cameras that record what is happening, which is a wise decision because it makes it feel different from many other series I've seen. It is a series full of magic and some terror, which keeps you glued to the edge of your seat.

If you haven't seen it, skip the comments about it and give it a chance, it's really very well done, we devoured the chapters in a few days, you already want to know what's going to happen. Maybe the only weak chapter is the first one, but it starts to escalate getting very VERY good.

so I saw this advertised on the chiller channel and it looked really good but I missed the first two weeks or so of it coming on that channel so I bought it since it was so reasonably priced. the first episode got me hooked!!! and the last episode left me wanting more. I gotta say I never watch shows like this but the way it was shot and the setting made me get interested in it in the first place. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. but it was really good, I googled around to see if there was a season 2, but all I saw was about it getting canceled from the channel that originally aired it which I think was abc? not sure, but Im very disappointed that there is no follow up season, you can only conclude from the ending that they never was able to leave and all eventually died. which with the ending they left us with it coulda been so much more if they had a season 2. so yes this is a good show, but because there is no season 2 and an open ending makes me sad to have watched it, I guess thats because I cant stand movies or shows that leave you with no real ending. I must add the way this was shot made for an even more unique experience. either way Im glad this show was made and I watched it, I just wish they would had made a season 2.

I haven't yet seen the whole series, but based on the first two episodes, I bought it. It's obviously not the best horror I ever seen, the scares are quite predictable and anyway, I'm more into horrors that induce fear rather than jumpscares. The biggest reason why I like this is the use of Brazilian and other South-American folk legends, which are (most of the time) quite accurate and authentic.
