I always have a soft spot for live recordings, especially when it comes to punk bands and this performance is really hard to fault. Poly Styrene’s vocals are incredibly powerful and eery at times, and all instruments are played fantastically. It’s one of those albums you listen to and just wish you were there! I look forward to hearing more of their albums. It’s fair to say a legend in the feminist punk scene was lost far too soon.
