Allison Williams and Alexander Dreymon Are Engaged!

Allison Williams and Alexander Dreymon have a lot to celebrate. On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, the Girls alum and The Last Kingdom actor made their red carpet debut at the Los Angeles premiere of M3GAN, her new horror comedy, People reports. Then, two days later, on December 9, 2022, Dreymon announced that wedding bells are in the pair’s near future. 

In an Instagram post, the actor shared a photo of the duo at the premiere and referred to Williams as his fiancée. “Premiere of M3GAN with a screaming, laughing, cheering crowd,” he writes. “It’s the ultimate fun scarefest. I’m so proud of my gorgeous fiancée @aw. Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard on what will likely be a new cult hit. Thank you @warrenalfiebaker for the @giorgioarmani suit. Love working with you.”

The couple stepped out on the red carpet in style. At the event, Williams, who starred in Peter Pan Live!, wore a gray sequined floor-length gown, while her soon-to-be husband sported a black plaid double-breasted suit with a white shirt and black tie. 

Williams and Dreymon first started dating in 2019 after meeting on the set of Horizon Line, a Swedish thriller that premiered in November of 2020, according to People. In the winter of 2021, news broke that the actors welcomed a baby boy, whom they named Arlo. Williams and Dreymon kept Arlo’s birth a secret for several months until they were spotted with their baby on a vacation in the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas in April of 2022. “They are both private people individually, and they made the decision to keep this happy news to just a small circle of family and friends, but they’re over the moon” a source told People at the time. 

Another insider told the outlet that the Get Out actress was also wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring on the family getaway. “They seemed to be very happy and very much in love,” the source said. 

Before Williams started seeing Dreymon, she was married to tech executive Ricky Van Even, Page Six reports. The former couple said “I do” in September of 2015, but they decided to call it quits four years later. A source cited being “distinctly different” people as the reason for the split. “Allison really is type A, a real go-getter, while Ricky is far more relaxed and laid-back,” the source told Page Six. “Things just haven’t been going well recently.” This is the first time Dreymon will tie the knot.
