Marlborough College Malaysia has won International School of the Year in the first ever Tes Awards for International Schools 2024

 

Marlborough College Malaysia has won International School of the Year in the first ever Tes Awards for International Schools. The awards programme expands the success of the UK’s prestigious and long running Tes Schools Awards, dubbed ‘the Oscars of education’.

7 schools and 6 teachers won awards in the inaugural Tes Awards for International Schools. These 13 winners were selected by an independent panel of expert judges, from a shortlist of 96 schools located across the globe. Despite the tough competition, it has been now revealed Marlborough College Malaysia has won International School of the Year.

Regionally, 6 awards were won by schools in the Middle East, 5 in Asia, 1 in Africa, and 1 in Europe.

Mr. Simon Burbury, Master of Marlborough College Malaysia said, “We are absolutely delighted to share with you all that Marlborough College Malaysia has been awarded ‘International School of the Year’ by the TES, as part of their inaugural awards for international schools.The awards bring together international schools from around the world to celebrate excellence across the sector in one inclusive global event.

In the write-up it states that, ‘The judges unanimously voted Marlborough College Malaysia as the International School of the Year. They have shown their dedication in passionately driving academic, wellbeing, and co-curricular activities to help their pupils succeed.’

It is superb that the College has received this external validation from such a prestigious educational institution.”
