I had a great time in school, whenever I had an issue with my classes I could ask for help there are many resources like tutoring after class or ask my teachers. I chose Lincoln because of their great support systems in whatever you need as long as you reach out. One of the bad experiences I had was my chose in friends, when I needed support to focus on my class work they would pull me back. They were a bad influence and because of there lack in support and pulling me back from doing my work I didn’t pass my classes that would’ve been easier if I had a good support system in school. I still did pretty good but I knew I could’ve done better had I had more school driven friends. There were times I was scared to come to school because I go to school in America where it’s dangerous because you never know whether someone might shoot up the school.
Attending Lincoln High School was full of ups and downs. During my time there I did experience a sense of depression and anxiety. While dealing with these issues the school offered help and assistance through most of the process. Some teachers didnt help at all which is expected but it can be disouraging when dealing with something like mental health.
I have enjoyed my experience here at my high school I'm not going to lie I was coming into Lincoln expecting a bad horrible school just as people have said but it's not bad when you find your group of people and find your voice once you found that which took me till my junior year it started to get fun Robotics also made me find my passion in Engineering and made me want to fight to switch my pathway in my senior year and even if I wasn't in the Engineering pathway from the beginning I got my senior class and finally felt part of the group I wanted to be in.
