What a wonderful friend and colleague Ricky was. When I came to Macon, he was one of the first to welcome me and I always respected and valued his judgment.
We spent many happy days at Security Bank and State Bank. I will miss him very much.

Susan and family, Ricky was a few years ahead of me at Georgia Southern and ATO but I knew him and he knew me. Anytime we were at a reunion or other event when he saw me he never failed to come up and say "hi Boots." As is said in his obituary he truly was a southern gentleman and a man of integrity. I know all of the older brothers who knew Ricky will miss seeing him. He was and is loved. ATO Brother Tim "boots-on" Butzon
