Stephen Younger, a former president of the New York State Bar Association and a lifetime partner at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, has moved to Foley Hoag. Younger said he was attracted to the opportunity to help build Foley Hoag’s New York office and expand his practice to the technology sector.

Younger, a high-profile commercial litigator who was president of the bar group in 2010-11, spent 35 years at 180-lawyer Patterson Belknap before the middle of last week, when he officially began at 270-attorney Foley Hoag. He said in an interview that, despite the disruption, COVID-19 has likely accelerated New York’s emergence as a tech hub.
