The view was fantastic, and we got a nice table. But the buffet was not worth the money, the meat was over cooked and not hot. There was supposed to be sushi, and there were only two kinds, very simular, and not fresh, it was...very disappointing, we cannot recommend this restaurantMore

Firstly, let me say, this is NOT worth $200 via Red Balloon. Our two kids (and their partners) bought a SkyFeast Voucher for hubby and myself for a Christmas present, with the thought we could celebrate our Wedding Anniversary (in April) there. I thought we...would make a weekend of it and booked a hotel in town for the Friday and Saturday nights. Dinner at SkyFeast booked for Saturday night at 5.30pm (hoping to get a little sunset as well as night). The staff were very friendly, took our drink order (you get a drink each as part of the package - house red or white or a cocktail - not much of a list for cocktails though). Hubby went up and bought back some fresh prawns and oysters to share (nice). Going well so far. I went up and got a plate full of Asian food to share. Most of it was inedible (except spring rolls). Hubby got another plate of prawns and oysters. I went up again and got a plate of roast meats, baked salmon and roast vegetables to share. Not very nice, although salmon was delicious. Hubby went and made himself a cheese plate (although no variety of biscuits available, only a large crispy biscuit which you broke up). I went and got one piece of each dessert on display. Hmm, although edible, I certainly wasn't squealing in delight with taste. Because we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, a small piece of slice was presented to us. After our allocated 1.5 hours, we walked away still hungry and very disappointed. The smorgasbord had just recently been reinstated (due to Covid), so I'm not sure what would have happened during the pandemic.More

Amazing views across the city and good food too. Buffet style experience with a selection of grill, Mediterranean, Asian choices along with salads, seafood, sushi and of course desserts. Slightly expensive for what it is particularly if you reorder cocktails (through the app) but we...did enjoy the whole 1.5hrs of our experience. Staff were attentive with plates cleared away regularly and they were always on hand for photos.More

Enjoyed the Buffet with 55 dishes in the 1000 ft tall revolving restaurant with 360 degree view of Sydney skyline. During the sumptuous meal with excellent spread of sea food and deserts we could see the surroundings of Darling Harbor, ANZ Bridge, Opera House ,...SCG stadium etc. The duration for the stay was for ninety minutes. The lunch price includes free access to Tower and for better view window seats are available at a bit higher price.More

We were really excited about our tower sunset dinner on the last Sunday of our vacation in Sydney, but what a disappointment. Our first impression was noticing that the elevator was dirty, the floor was worn and filthy with the walls scratched up like some...kind of a freight elevator. Arriving we were seated at a table across from the window, while the views were still accessible we were there at night so the restaurant lighting reflected on the windows ruining the view. Overall for the price we paid, we, and I imagine others, would expect an above average dining experience. Here’s the list of issues we unfortunately experienced. 1. Service was subpar. We had to ask for water two times and then we’re given short cocktail glasses containing three swallows of luke warm water. Why not put a carafe of cool water on the table? The water walked by several times and should have cleared our platefuls instead of chatting it up with other servers all night. 2. Food was average at best, the prawns had to be peeled by hand which eliminated most customers from eating them. No decafe or drip coffee. No carved meat which is standard for most buffets. 3. I judge a restaurant, in part, by how their bathrooms are maintained. Hitting you instantly is the gagging smell of urine when the door opened. The toilet area was surrounded by a black plastic and the toilet flush button was missing.More

Terrible food selection, too expensive, pump people in and out. We went to later seating and not much food left plus when we went back up to get more food they’d taken all the seafood away and most the hot food only leaving desserts. Only...good thing about it was the view but definitely not worth the money for the food.More

When my family and I were scheduling this dinner, we were given the option of paying extra for a window table. This was recommended to us by the person who took our call since the restaurant rotates which means the views change during your sitting....Because we were going to be in Sydney during the holidays, the only time that was available for a window table on the night we were able to do dinner was 8:45 pm so we took it. We arrived at the check-in at 8:00 pm only to be turned away and told to come back at 8:45 pm. When we checked in and paid at 8:45 pm we had to wait an additional 30 minutes to be seated so we ended up starting dinner at 9:15 pm. The buffet was scheduled to close at 10:00 so we didn't even get to enjoy the food (which really wasn't enjoyable, anyway). Instead, we felt like we were doing competitive eating...trying to eat as much as possible in the 45 minutes we had remaining. When my wife ordered a cocktail, the server wanted us to pay for it immediately. Because we did not know if we were going to order more drinks, the server asked for my wife's driver's license to keep until we paid our bar tab. This seemed ridiculous to us, but the server explained that there are a lot of customers who leave the restaurant without paying their bar tab. At 10:00 pm when we were leaving, we could not find our server, and we were freaking out that he had finished his shift with my wife's driver's license in his pocket. Fortunately, after grilling several other servers we found out he had given it to one of them. Terrible system. Now all this would have been forgivable if the food was good, but it was not. We're from the United States, and my family and I agreed that we've had better quality food at relatively inexpensive buffets like Golden Corral and Old Country Buffet in the States. Save your money--eat elsewhere. Sydney has amazing cuisine.More

Please avoid the mistake of visiting here fooled by the location and self acclaimed "iconic" status. The buffet here is terrible and not value for money. The food you get is not fresh or high quality and they don't replenish the best part - the...low quality seafood. Everything else is below food court standard quality and they take so long to refill your plate without giving you attitude for asking them to do their jobs first. It was a very awkward experience and ruined our whole night starting there. We felt so uncomfortable asking for more food that we paid for and left still hungry. Do yourself a favour and search other local buffets or restaurants that offer more food for less, without the dramaMore

Yesterday I went to my friend's 30th birthday, booking was at 5.00pm and was actually her surprise birthday dinner. First of all we admit we were 20mins late and the lady staff at the reception was nice to still let us in and told us...that the seating is 1 1/2hr if seating but since we got there late we only had 1hr left without being rude. When we got to our table we were serve by this guy name Razhu, had to ask his name from other staff as we all was so disappointed at his rude service, he kept on saying that because we are late that the entree and mains has to come together and he repeated like 3 times (in our head if you are rushing us the won't you give us the drinks menu so we can quickly order).during our eating times no one has came to us and ask us how was our meal and would you like any more water or extra food?( just to let you know it was not busy at that time too as we can see a lot of empty tables around. Well since the server "Rahzu" was rushing us and it was 6.10pm and we only have 20mins left know one came to ask us if we like the desserts to come now, and so the desserts came at 6.20pm! So you think we can eat the desserts in 10mins without rushing and enjoy the view?? Overall the server Rahzu was rude he didn't have any professionalism in customer service at all so I think you should trained your staff more on a customer service manner and how to talk to customer not to be in a rush as we paid a lot of money for this and the food wasn't even good as well. And sorry I would never come back here again either my friends. P.S I have read some of the other reviews from this restaurant and I'm not the only one seeing the bad customers service in this restaurant.More

$75 a head so great value for the view you get. The food is absolutely atrocious and you have to fight through the hoards who don’t know how to queue to serve yourself. Beer was cold just like the food. To be honest if you...want the best view in town then absolutely the $75 is worth paying but don’t go there thinking you will enjoy the food because food is a real stretch.More

Without doubt one of the worst food experiences I have ever had, all the meats were tough beyond belief, I have experienced bricks more tender. The kangaroo bourginon was nothing short of nasty. Undercooked onions a sour flavour and meat you could have soled shoes...with. The rice had been there so long the top layer could have gravelled the average pathway. The restaurant itself is tatty and jaded. And as for the toilets, these need upgrading to something that reflects the charges. This us not an inexpensive venue which is lacking in so many ways. I could not recommend to anyone to eat here. The choices are poor, unless you like undercooked budget quality vegetables, overcooked noodles and pasta. You would experience higher quality of food from Hungry Jacks... save your money.More

Very disappointed. Had international guests visiting and wanted to show them our beautiful city a night. Upon arrival us ladies needed to use the amenities. The ladies toilets were an absolute disgrace in sight and smell. Not a good start. I felt dirtier after washing...my hands in there than when I entered. Some of the food was extremely dry and didn’t look appetizing all. It cost us over $100 per head with one free drink. The deserts were nice and view spectacular, but this make up for the poor amenities and quality of food.More

The service was quite nice, staff were very approachable and willing to talk, everyone was quite polite and happy. On top of this, it’s a view you can’t really get many places, and it spins slowly which is a fun gimmick. We paid $120 each...to enter (public holiday boxing day rate, normally $105) and the food was equivalent to what you’d get at a pub. I don’t think the food was bad per se, it was just very average for what you pay. There was also a relatively limited spread with very basic choices.More

We’re on holiday to Sydney and what better way to see the city than 80 floors up on a rotating view of the night sky. 6:00PM reservation, we promptly arrived and we’re seated by the windows ($10 upgrade, per person). Waiter explained the buffet style...and asked us for our complimentary drink selection, but had no drink menu available, only “a house red wine, a white wine and 2 beers”. We made one trip to the buffet line - where we were greeted by the culinary diversity of a nursing home. At a cover charge of $90 per person, we expected to find a little more than chicken nuggets, fries, half cooked potatoes and a variety of poorly assembled Asian inspired dishes. Any image you find of their buffet line was clearly done by a marketing agency 10 years ago, because the food was borderline inedible and stone cold by the time you return back to your table. Oysters smelled incredibly fishy and we did not consume them for fear of ending up in hospital. We stayed an hour for the incredible views of the Sydney skyline at night and took some fantastic photos - but found better value in food at the McDonalds a block away. 1/10, simply for the views. Definitely not worth the money.More
